KIDS

Have kids? No worries, we've got you covered. CrossWay Kids offers programs for kids who are 6 weeks old through 5th grade. Your children will be in a safe environment where they will learn about Jesus and have a fun time doing it. 

 

Meet us at the CrossWay Kids church entrance! You'll see the feather flag when you pull into the parking lot or we'll be happy to direct you from the sanctuary to Kids Church.

YOUR FIRST VISIT

Visiting us for the first time? No fear! Our friendly greeters will show you where our Kids classrooms are. We will meet your family and answer any questions you may have. We can't wait to meet you!

SAFETY

Volunteers at CrossWay Church are trained to create an atmosphere where families can confidently leave their children while they are in service. We have a check-in that will print nametags for your kids and out volunteers make sure kids only leave with their parent/guardian. Every volunteer is screened with a background check. Don't worry parents - we've got this!

WHAT WE TEACH

Your kids will experience an age appropriate lesson that will teach them about God and His love for them. The teaching is interactive and utilizes multiple approaches for different learning styles. The goal at CrossWay Church is for kids to understand who Jesus is and how He can make a difference in their lives. They will also have a lot of fun!

OUR CHILDREN'S PASTOR

Derek & Heather McGhee

Derek is married to Heather and has four kids, Brayden, Sawyer, Ethyn, and Maylen.  Derek is the Youth Director at Crossway Church and is responsible for overseeing all ministry activities for children of each age group that facilitates learning and spiritual growth.  His desire is for our youth to see that they are known and loved by God so they can in return live Christ-centered lives.  He loves Dr. Pepper, sports, fishing, cars, and spending time with his family.
