At CrossWay Youth, we're all about creating a vibrant, faith-filled community for young hearts and minds. If you're in middle or high school, we'd love to have you join us for inspiring discussions, exciting events, and service projects that make a positive impact. Discover how we're making a positive impact in our church and community while deepening our connection with God and each other.

 

CrossWay Student Ministries meets every Sunday night at 6:00pm at our Ministries Center on Hwy. 87. Explore your faith, discover your purpose, and embark on an incredible journey with us! Come as you are, and let's grow together in Christ's love.

Provide a Meal!

We all know our teens can eat! Our goal is to provide meals most Sunday nights at the Youth House, rather than going out to eat and spending money. 

 

This is a great opportunity for parents or other church members to show our youth that we care about them. Click the link below to sign up to provide a meal or donate to the youth fund!

July 6th: We won't meet

 

July 11th-12th: Come out for The Great Family Campout! Bring your camping gear and be ready for an awesome time to connect with your kids and other church families while we enjoy smores, a movie, and so much more! Register and let us know you're coming so we can prepare accordingly.

July 20th: Giant Water Slide! Bring a towel and wear proper clothes. The Middle and High Schoolers will meet at our Ministries Center on Hwy 87 at 5:00 PM!

 

July 27th: We won't meet

 

August 3rd: Pool Party at North East Park in Burlington, NC. Kids of all ages and parents are welcome to join us from 6:15-8:15PM. We have rented the pool just for us!

 

August 8th-9th: Your Middle and High Schoolers are invited to a retreat at Cornerstone Conference in Browns Summit, NC. We will have worship time, lessons, and you will stay overnight in boys/girls cabins. The weekend will be filled with ziplining, the blob and other water games at the lake.

OUR YOUTH PASTOR

Derek & Heather McGhee

Derek is married to Heather and has four kids, Brayden, Sawyer, Ethyn, and Maylen.  Derek is the Youth Director at Crossway Church and is responsible for overseeing all ministry activities for children of each age group that facilitates learning and spiritual growth.  His desire is for our youth to see that they are known and loved by God so they can in return live Christ-centered lives.  He loves Dr. Pepper, sports, fishing, cars, and spending time with his family.
